It’s been a slow start to the year for me. I’m giving myself grace for needing rest, and showing up as best I can. Ultimately, I’m just really freaking tired, but I’m here. And if you’re reading this, I’m glad you’re here too. I’m slowly crawling out of winter hibernation for a very special reason. Michelle, Corey, and I had a blast hosting weekly Substack live sessions last year. So much so that we decided to take things up a notch. Today, I’m introducing you (the internet at large) to the Anti-Grifter Social Club, which is now alive and well.
Why start a creative collective?
For 12 months, I met with Corey and Michelle on Substack live, in person, and virtually to talk all things newsletter writing, creativity, community building, and podcasting. Collectively, we grew by over 5,000 newsletter subscribers and earned 425K+ total views across our published articles. An incredible feat we couldn’t have reached in silos. We're stronger together. We support each other. We bring different perspectives to the table. And we know we can achieve more while crafting fun experiences for all of you.
Through a collective, we offer brands that want to reach 10K+ creative entrepreneurs a unified ecosystem well-positioned to grow and scale with their needs, built on trust and independent of algorithms. But wait, all this started with Substack, right?
Beyond Substack
As you may know, Substack has a few limitations. Namely, it’s hard for us to generate an RSVP link for non-Substack users when planning our live sessions. We want to elevate your experience. We’ve featured interviews and deep dives with a ton of creators and plan to do that even more this year – starting with our first-ever, 2-day virtual summit. We’ll be showcasing 5 guest speakers, opening the floor for Q&A, and giving away prizes with each speaker (which means 5 chances to win something awesome that will help you along your creative business journey).
